SB-AW has been started in fall 2002 near Munich/Germany by Dr. Eckart Schroeder-Bergen. It works on functional Internet components and special software for data handling. The main focus is the development of the backup archive system "VersionBackup".

At the end of 2007, a partnership with the sales company OMEGA S.E.E. has been concluded. From this time on, OMEGA operates the world wide sales distribution and activities, also managing the contact to other partners in different companies. SB-AW keeps on concentrating on the further development of the VersionBackup product.
